Seed treatment, seed dressing
Seed treatment (also called «dressing») is a technology that applies biological or chemical agents directly to the seed. With this coating on the seed, plants are protected from insects as well as from transmissible diseases, which can have devastating consequences, especially in the early stage of growth. The environment benefits because, thanks to the seed dressing, fewer plant protection products are required.
